Be a Permanent Work of Art!
For three years now, the Art class at Dunsmuir High School under the direction of Pat Devereaux has been painting (weather permitting), a long wall mural by the river on Sacramento Avenue. The wall represents a slice of life in the Dunsmuir community including Dunsmuir High School students. The mural was an original idea presented to Mrs. Devereaux by the Beautification Committee of Dunsmuir. Last fall the Art class added to the mural by painting a large tiger sitting on a gold and white stripe couch. Now, they are having a drawing and the winners (2) will be painted as a permanent work of art sitting next to that large tiger on the couch as part of the mural.
Raffle tickets are $5.00 each. The money will go towards the Art fund at Dunsmuir High School.
